Here’s my best tips for VDS:
Call the homies to the table.
Print some character sheets.
Get a handful of D6.
Put on some kickass tunes.
Make some characters.
Run Dogs of Leadgrave (included in the book).
Ask the players where they want to go next or grab the next included adventure. 
That’s about all I got. I don’t know how much help that actually is.
