Thinking of toying with a skirmish/kill team version of War|Maker using a modified version of the “Durability” rules. Essentially I wanna play smaller scale battles between fewer minis. Mainly due to space and cost. Has anyone already done this?

I recently have been diving into Necromunda so i can borrow from it to add to my WarMaker games.
WarMaker is a “blue collar war gaming engine” that can be used for most scenarios. Just scale it to however it fits your table and needs

it can be whatever kind of war game or skirmish game you make it.

Sorry I should have explained myself better, I meant has anyone made it more like Kill Team where it’s about individual soldiers and not squads of 6. So you could play a game with only say 12 minis
