Midlands

I have been reading through the Midlands sandbox setting guide. It is a fantastically detailed resource for running a low magic world.

The included monsters are not just the usual d&d ones and can adapt well to ICRPG, and the 50 modular adventures can be used to insert into a campaign or used as one shots, all with nice maps.

Oh I absolutely love the Midlands settings. I have been running a team through that world for the last 6 months or so. I’m also running another team through Alfheim in ICRPG.

Have you taken stuff from Midlands into Alfheim? I imagine the city settings and modular adventures are indispensable.

I haven’t yet. My ICRPG group is on their third session, but I have every intention to use the Midland adventures when situations arise. I do have plans to use the descriptions for places like Dol-Karok for dwarven cities in Alfheim, for example. What about you? What are you considering to pull in?
