Character Prompts | Equipped With...?

Last night when I was creating a character using the easy templates first before diving into the full custom point-buy options I had a question that I hope the community can help me understand. When selecting or rolling for options under Character Prompt II, does these equipments replace your remaining points to purchase equipments?

I.E. I rolled [9. Vials and Magical Baubles: You revel in oddities, artifacts, ingredients,
trinkets, curios, wands, and jewelry.] Does that mean that I get these item(s) on top of my remaining 9 points from choosing the Hoodlum template?

I think it’s open to interpretation between you and the GM. It sounds to me like you literally just get vials and a variety of enchanted baubles.

So these items awarded by these character prompts are additional equipment during character creation?

They are just ideas I believe for those who want to make a character randomly.
