I’ve just recently gotten into ICRPG. Been running a game for a while now, and I’m trying to find somewhere I can pick up a copy of ICRPG: Magic. But, I can’t even find it in .pdf anywhere.
I don’t understand? Was the book pulled for some reason?
Where can I get it?
Hey @SkySunderer, Magic got incorporated into ICRPG Master Edition. Consequently, it is no longer available as a standalone product.
There was maybe some talk about releasing a Magic: The Lost Tome. Hank even teased such a cover on his Discord, which would be the best place to get such news. That being said, I haven’t seen it released (re-released?) yet.
Last word was, after some printer issues are resolved, it will be available online for a limited run.

Looking through my Magic book, I find it amazing how most of its content was actually rolled into the Master Edition. There is not a lot that got lost and the adventures in the book made it into the free PDF that comes with the ME.
That said, there are some interesting alternatives for Magic and some more detailed monster descriptions in it, but overall I don’t feel I’m missing any of this in the ME.
I would regard it more as a collectors item now, than a valid supplement. Content of the old book was streamlined and rolled into ME, into a simpler version of the magic system which fits into the ICRPG concept of ‘trim everything down to the bare minimum’. This way it is easy to add to it.
