Buffed Species

#1

Curious–has anyone played with buffed species? I’m preparing to run this, and wanted to make species matter a bit more, so I’ve revised all but the halfling (they’re not present in the setting). What do you think? Would this be too unyieldy and make the game less EZ?

Human
*Pick two extra inclinations.

Dwarf

  • Tunnel sight (see twice as far in dim light)
  • Boon to resist poison
  • Boon to learning about stonework
  • Boon to melee tasks

Elf

  • Twilight sight (see twice as far in dim light)
  • Boon to resist mind-altering magicks
  • Boon to observing your environment
  • Boon to hiding in the wilds

Goblin

  • Nooks and crannies- As a move a goblin can jump into cover and avoid being attacked for a turn if they don’t attack. Cover or broken ground must be near the goblin.
  • Night sight (see twice as far in dim light)
  • Boon to riding tasks
    *Boon to dexterous tasks

Do you mean Dwarves have, “Boon to strength tasks” or that they have an advantage on melee attacks—an additional one if they are already a Warrior?
Just curious

The latter of the two.
