Blades in the Dark: Lite - Play-by-post, Hack, Playtest

Hey everyone,

I have put together a Blades in the Dark Lite hack and would like to test it out playing some Band of Blades (basically Black Company). This would be mostly play by post centered around missions and downtime controlling the legion. I think the dice pool resolutions system would go well with play at your pace, posting. You do not need a rule book of any sort.

I definitely want to do live sessions, too, but cannot commit every week since I DM another group. Eventually, one of my goals is to see how it feels with combat on a map. If you are interested, let me know and I will send a link to the discord!

Having run some BitD I would agree. I think this system would work great for play by post. I wish you luck with this endevour

I’m intrigued. I’ve recently devoured Blades and done some solo play. May I see your rules?
