Big Swing, AC drop?

So been thinking about “big” attacks during some solo play. If a player swings a two-handed sword for the “fence” then I was thinking a temporary drop in AC for one round. Similar to a sniper rifle. If it hits, deadly/does more damage. However, for the brief time, the shooter is defenseless during reload, re-chambering for the next engagement. Anyone do something like this? I want to give my player(s) more moves/damage as they level up and not Hearts. My son and his friends play online games which gives them better weapons and moves as they level up but are still vulnerable to attack and I like that idea. KZ

This could easily be special loot. Two examples:
Great brass club. You can make an attack against all nearby enemies. If you do, all attacks against you are easy until your next turn.

Trollfang axe. Add your STR to damage when attacking. AC is lowered by 2.
